Technology

Built with vanilla HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript — no frameworks, no build tools, no dependencies. The game runs entirely in your browser. Sound effects are generated programmatically using the Web Audio API (zero audio files). The matrix rain background is rendered on canvas.

The game itself is a love letter to the open source community. One of the 8 endings is "Open Source Hero" — because we believe that sharing knowledge freely is one of the most impactful things you can do.
